Understanding your dosha (body/mind constitution) through the lens of Vedic Astrology
If you are an Ayurvedic practitioner, or someone who loves to learn about health then you’ll definitely want to join me in this FREE workshop. This workshop is a unique offering, and is designed as an introduction to the understanding of the foundational pillars of Jyotish (Vedic Astrology) and it’s relation to Ayurveda (the sister science to Yoga).
Jyotish describes the planetary patterns at the time of our birth, and can give us valuable clues to understanding our life’s journey.
- It helps us to realistically evaluate our strengths and challenges in order to optimize our full potential.
- It offers practical measures to alleviate areas of difficulty, giving us the confidence to manifest and create success, happiness, and harmony on all levels.
- It is an excellent tool for exploring the depths of our psyche and expanding our awareness.
Jyotish is the oldest system of astrology in the world, mentioned in The Vedas, and classical texts such as The Bhagavad Gita. It’s derived from the Sanskrit word “jyoti” which means light. As the pure light of scientific knowledge, the word Jyotish implies studying a person’s character, health, habits and even the future on the basis of his or her birth chart.
The objective of Jyotish is to become aware of our Self, aware of our own inner state; our tendencies and dispositions, and to be able to help ourselves to achieve our full potential.
Vedic Astrology is both an art and a science, which helps people achieve wholeness in life. This is done by describing karmic impressions, giving the person insight into his own unique physical constitution, psychological make-up, talents and abilities, which helps him to find purposeful work, prosperity, meaningful relationships and good health.
This workshop is intended to introduce a way of thinking about life that is radically different from conventional western thought.
The workshop will be held on:
Sunday, December 4th at 2:00pm EST online.
