I love to surprise and delight!

I love to surprise and delight!

I just love to surprise and delight my clients and past clients!

I spent the afternoon in a workshops with my business coach, Michelle, and well….she knocked it out of the ball park.  It was absolutely amazing.  She ended the workshop by giving us 10 ways to turn negative thinking around because she knows us all too well… that it’s human nature to turn up the volume when it comes to negative chatter, especially this time of year.  It’s very emotional, right?!

The best part though, was how much she surprised and delighted us with the amount of content and the energy she brought in to the workshop.  It was incredible.

And then I understood why I hired her in the first place >>> we were very similar.   I love to give and pour love out to my clients just like she does.

So I thought to myself, as the holidays approach, what can we do that is fun, required, and can provide value?

Another detox of course >>> Quick FAT LOSS, done the RIGHT way,  FAST!

I  KNEW I  was on the right track when a super popular business coach, who I told my idea to, decides to do the same thing.  But there’s an important difference between her method and mine.

Well, unfortunately,  she’s consuming a shit load of synthetic proteins to sustain her, as she fasts all day, and then she goes all out at night.

If you guys have followed me any length of time, you know that as a Registered Nurse, and an Ayurvedic Counselor, this is a huge NO NO!  You NEVER want to eat your largest meal at night.  That is the fastest route to disease and digestive issues ever.

Even though she was a personal trainer earlier in her career,  she bought into the commercial synthetic protein lies, and bought into this large meal at night philosophy.  Talk about screwing up your hormones and digestive system.  The thought make me cringe.

P.S. Check out this new recipe by Louise Vindahl called Grab & Go Blackberry Oats for the late sleeper:
Ingredients:

1 cup fresh ripe organic blackberries (or frozen and thawed)

1 cup plain sweetened yoghurt (or coconut yoghurt)

2 Tbs raw honey

½ tsp vanilla extract

½ cup gluten-free roles oats

2 Tbs black chia seeds

1 banana sliced.

Put the blackberries, yoghurt, honey, and vanilla in a blender and blend on a high speed until completely smooth.

Pour into a bowl and stir in the oats and chia seeds.  Arrange the banana slices around the inside of two sealable medium-sized glass jars or large one.

Pour the smoothie on top and serve chilled (to give the oats and chia seeds a chance to soak) with spoons.  Alternatively, store in the fridge overnight to grab on your way out the next morning.  It can keep for a couple of days in the fridge, if unopened.
