Chef Om

Former monk Chef Om is the Co-Founder and executive chef of Cooking with Om, an Ayurvedic plant based meal delivery service based in Los Angeles. He is also a cooking teacher that specializes in cooking with a healing mindset.

Om can teach you how to slow down, mediate and honor your body as a sacred temple so that you can harvest abundant joy, health and positivity each and every day, while also enjoying foods you prepare at home.

Annette Shellenbarger

RN, CAS, PKT,  is a Clinical Ayurvedic Practioner, Registered Nurse, Licensed Massage Therapist, and Registered Yoga Teacher.  Annette is also a Certified Panchakarma Technician, Marma Therapist and Pranic Healer, and a graduate from California College of Ayurveda and Kerala Ayurveda Academy.

Annette also holds an MA from University of Maryland, a BSN from Marymount University, and a Certification in Nutrition and Cancer from the Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine.

Annette’s past experience as a Registered Nurse include Surgery/Trauma, Kidney Transplant and Bariatric Unit; Oncology/Bone Marrow Transplant Unit; and Public Health Nursing.  Her past adventures also include serving in the U.S. Navy as a Naval Intelligence Officer and traveling around the world to study Nutrition, Ayurveda, and Yoga.

Annette is married, has two sons, and lives in Florida.  She currently runs her own Ayurvedic Wellness Clinic in Sarasota, Florida, providing Ayurvedic Consultations, Panchakarma and  Ayurvedic Rejuvenation treatments.  Annette also teaches Ayurvedic Facial Marma Therapy at Life Energy Institute Massage School in Los Angeles, California.
