Tahini is a Middle Eastern food made out of ground sesame seeds and is loaded with health benefits. It helps maintain healthy skin and muscle tone, provides healthy fats & minerals, it’s a rich sources of Vitamin E and B, it provides calcium, and it helps the liver with the detoxification process.
This is a smoothie I created using Tahini and it’s right out of my Fall Detox. Drink this smoothie after a workout, as a snack, or use it as a meal replacement – it’s full of vitamins, minerals, anti-oxidants, healthy fats and proteins. You will love it!
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 ½ cups dairy free milk
- 1 cup kale
- 1/2 cup frozen mixed berries
- 2 tablespoons tahini
- 2 tablespoons chia seeds
- 1 cup kale
- Dash of cinnamon
- top with 2 tablespoons shredded coconut (OPTIONAL)
