A delicious alternative to dairy is homemade almond milk; and I have an easy recipe for you right here:
*1 cup raw almonds soaked for at least 8 hours
* 2 cups filtered water (you can 1/2-1 cup more if preferred)
* 1-2 dates (pitted)
* 1 tsp vanilla extract
Peel the skin off the soaked almonds and rinse them well. Add the almonds, water, dates, & vanilla extract in your high powered blender such as Vitamix and blend until completely smooth. Pour the almond milk through a nut bag for a thinner consistency and store in the fridge for up 3 days. Enjoy!
